PURPOSE & INITIATIVES:
The Community Relations Department leads both internal and external communications as well as all marketing efforts to strengthen the connection between Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation (MVCSC) and its stakeholders. Through strategic media relations, website engagement, and coordinated outreach with community partners, the department works to engage staff, parents, and the broader community. All initiatives are aligned with the district’s mission, with the overarching goal of fostering a consistently positive perception of MVCSC.

Every other year in the fall, we invite realtors and contractors to join us for a breakfast to get to know our schools, meet leadership and build relationships.
