Engage, Educate and Empower Today's Students to Seize Tomorrow's Opportunities!

Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation is committed to meeting the needs of students who have disabilities, ages 3 through 21 years. Students are determined eligible for special education services by the case conference committee following a multi-disciplinary educational evaluation. Parents/guardians and school personnel are all integral members of the case conference committee. Mt. Vernon provides a continuum of services to meet the individual educational needs of our students in the least restrictive environment. If you suspect your child may have a disability, please see the Parent Hub link for information on the next steps.
