Rankings are based on a range of performance indicators, including graduation rates, state assessments, and college readiness, measured from data from the 2022-2023 school year. Data sources include the College Board, the U.S. Department of Education’s Common Core of Data, and state test results. MVHS earned an overall score of 86.74 out of 100, as well as a 91.9th percentile score on the SAT and other state evaluations, which indicates that the school exceeded expectations for overall student performance.
A key component of college readiness includes access to Advanced Placement (AP®) and Dual Credit courses. Based on College Board data, 38% of MVHS seniors participated in at least one AP® exam, and 26% passed at least one. The school earned a college readiness score of 29.1, highlighting its dedication to preparing students for postsecondary success.
