| Spam Summary Tutorial | ||
| If you are checking your e-mail and you recieve an email like the one shown here in bold please follow the next few steps. | ||
Opening the e-mail will bring you to a screen much like the one below.
From here you have to make your choice of whether to forward the
received e-mail(1) to view the message or whether you should whitelist(2)
the sender to assure all message will come through in the future.
You may also view an entire weeks worth of spam messages by clicking the link at the bottom of the window.(3) |
| Choosing to forward your message(1), which makes it safe to open if you don't know the legitimacy of the message, will create a popup like the one below. The sender is still blocked, however, you can choose to whitelist(2) them if they are legit. | ||
| Choosing to whitelist(2) the sender will never block their messages again and will create a popup like the one below. | ||
Whether you choose to forward(1) or whitelist(2) a sender, their
message will appear in your inbox within one minute as shown below.
Note: I have already read the message and it does not appear bold. Your message, after forwarding or whitelisting, will appear in bold. |
| From there you are free to read, reply, or do whatever you wish with the e-mail. If you have decided it is spam, a virus, or invalid, please just delete the message. | ||
| Finally if you have decided to view an entire weeks summary a popup will be created like the one below. Once there you can whitelist a sender by clicking the Not Spam button. | ||
